CLIENT SNAPSHOT: LAUREN CRAM

MKD is delighted to showcase a new client and logo + brand design. Lauren Cram is a talented and creative St. Louis based fashion designer. Previously known as Victrola Designs, Lauren was looking for a fresh new digital identity for 2019.

Her goal was to achieve a unique logo that - while simple and clean, was still feminine also had some bite to it. Though I scoured the planet for the right font to use as a base for this logo ... I came up short. So as a result I went pent-to-paper on this one. The logo its self is freehand custom drawn from scratch - not using any font as a starting point.

We knew from the jump that she wanted a logo that would translate well in Gold, and from there I pulled the rest of the palette from various images that were cohesive from the mood board.
